Mohan, steps-in to save Ganga’s life and marries her. His disapproving father attempt to get rid of her, by pushing her off a moving train. An act that leads to her losing her memory, and that too while carrying the hero’s child. As the child grows-up, Mohan also moves on with his life and enters another marriage, albeit an unhappy one. The story is about whether the child finds someone to call “father”, and Ganga, “husband”.
