Vijay, an honest police officer, witnesses Vicky, the son of a rich businessman, J.D. Chakravarthi, forcing himself upon his sister and kills him. Vijay is proven guilty and sentenced to death, but is saved by a dedicated lawyer, Sharada Devi.
